Axelaime was born in France, near of Paris in 1980, resulting from the interbreeding of Africa and France, in a music lover family.
Initiated with the musical theory and the Flute dice the 7 years age, he continued his musical discovery with the battery at 10 years, to arrive at his revelation: the Piano at 13 years.
Instrument which he first of all studied with the traditional academies, then turned thereafter to the Jazz: style which allowed him finally a free and total expression of his emotions. Then the Jazz soothsayers “Free”, “Fusion” and “Interbreed”. The limitations and the barriers of the partitions did not exist any more, thus creation could finally follow his natural course, through the writing and the composition.
The musics was not his alone sees expression, the theatre of improvisation out of barrel another of considerable importance and which lasted for his part until his 22 years… (Officially, because for him, the very whole life is a play of improvisation).
- 1996, towards the 16 years age, the Percussion made a “percussion” entry in his life. Because the concept of “Fright” in the musics, became one réalitée lived intensely. Within various groups of percussionnists, it thus learned how to control the techniques of various instruments (Jembe-Doum Doum-Congas-Diarbouka-Bongos-Sourdo etc.). His first group Reggae Yenenga , was his first occasion to compose and interpret with the song his own songs.
- 1998, he have thus the privilege to make the first part of the famous French Ragga group:
Saï-Saï
- 1999, at the moment or the software of M.C.A. (Music Computer-assisted) returned on the general public market, it have the conviction that these tools will allow to revolutionize musical creations. Thus, he seized advisability of entirely creating his clean musics, using this software, these machines and of his keyboards, in “Home Studio”.
- 2002, he settled in the role of keyboard in the group of Reggae Jah Prince & The Prophets .
- 2004, he diffused his musical way and his tastes through the waves during one year, in the emission Colors Cross every Tuesday evenings (21h-23h) on line on 88.4 FM (Western of Paris).
- From 2003 to 2005, he was one of the founders of the group of Batucada Hanabi Sensei , his instrument were the “Sourdo”.
- 2005, that made 10 years that the musics electronics, techno and others, belonged to his “festive” life by the means of concerts and other organizations of evenings. He taken the decision to pass to the mix, with his musical various and varied influences. And thus he created his style very influenced by Transe, Electro, House and many more.
It had the occasion thus to play in prestigious Parisiens places like : Cabaret Sauvage , Planet Hollywood (Paris) , China Club , Le Tribar , Café de la Plage , The Aqueduc coffee , etc…
- 2006, he created his own independent label “Axelaime/Gaïa Prod. ”, in order to diffuse his music with the greatest number, in a spirit of exchange and division. What enabled him to work on the creation of pieces and vidéos, for artists like the sculptrice Isabelle Flahault , the Painter Pierre-Victor Petkov . Musical associations with L.S. King : Studio Tranquil , Alex Safran , Arlinda Mestre . Evenings mix in The Loft, à L'Aquarium, The Tribar , Café de la Plage .
- 2007 September to January 2008, he was resident DJ in Malaga (Spain), in the club El Sound , the Brujas , and the Salakarma.
He had the opportunity as well to refine his sound technic on new playlist Electro / Tech-minimal / Electro-House ... But also Electro-Lounge / Jazz House / Ambiante-Chill etc... to merge his playlist with the warm sun of Spain.
- 2008 February, back to France to continue the musical adventure, in résidence every Wednesday in the "Fluide".
- 2008 Summer, currently finalising his compositions and research new clubs for fun and warmth of the dancefloor.
